Brand new Wood Lathe Hollowing Tool / Chisel with a 5/8 Diameter Carbide Insert + an Indexable HSS Bit. For turning the inside of vessels and bowls. The 5/8 round sharp indexable carbide insert permits unsurpassed cutting performance on all wood lathe hollowing operations. The HSS bit is great for conventional hollowing and tight corners.
The round carbide insert is 16mm OD x 5.5mm ID x 3mm thick and has a 30 degree bevel. This tool come with (1) round carbide insert.
In addition, the oblong high speed steel bit included is indexable, so it can be positioned wherever you need to get into tight places. The tool is 20-1/4" overall length with an 11-3/4" Solid ash handle with brass ferrule. This is a beautiful, well made tool for the serious wood turner, that gives you the flexibility of turning with carbide or high speed steel...
