The outer box has to be considered absolutely amazing considering how old it is, and we opened it for a check with gloves, carefully, and it turned out that the screen has natural wear and needs to be replaced. This is a very easy task for a GBA collector/reseller. Everything else is perfect and we also made sure that no game never has been inserted in the slot on the back (the color is normal, we used flash with the camera), it is a perfect item except the screen with the wear - PRICE DOWN! There is no "seal on the box"-culture in Japan like in the west, so no Japanese items have seals on the boxes even if they are new.
